Hacktivist groups engaged in cyber activities

Another geopolitical flashpoint and another surge of hacktivist activity. Granted, India and Pakistan is a constant source of hacktivist activity, the recent kinetic tensions have resulted in a hacktivist surge.

There are currently 45 groups who have made declarations and conducted hacktivist attacks since April 22 2025. These groups have largely been active for some time and mostly conduct DDoS and also Defacement attacks which are popular for Indian and Pakistan based hacktivists.

I will expect there to be many more groups involved as geopolitical tensions increase.
