OCT 9 2023 Israel-Palestine Cybertracker - Cyberknow.

Hi All, firstly thanks for reading, for those that don’t know about me - I am a motivated individual who believes that situational awareness will help uplift the entire cyber security community.

As the Russia-Ukraine cybertracker has become a successful piece of threat intelligence for the wider community I felt it only made sense to make one for the current Israel-Palestine unrest.

This is the second edition but the first one put into a report like this. I am confident that the 58 groups I have captured above are not all those active.

Some insights:

• Almost all the groups active have been attacking Israel in particular for years.

• Almost all the groups who are supporting Palestine and are Anti-Israel claim to be religiously motivated Islamic groups.

• three groups - Killnet, Usersec and Anonymous Sudan have all come from the Russia-Ukraine war as pro-Russian groups.

• There have been two pro-Israel groups start in the past 24 hours and I expect there to be more.

• We can expect to see continued

  • DDoS attacks

  • Defacement attacks

  • Breach & Leak attacks and claims

  • Misinformation and disinformation being spread

  • Doxxing and attacks on telegram accounts of combatants.

These cyber trackers always take a lot of work, effort and time so I really appreciate you reading, keeps the motivation up.
